District 6310 Awarded RI’s Public Relations Grant 2010 Ruby Iwamasa, District PR Chair We were very excited to learn that District 6310 was again selected as one of the recipients of the 2010 RI’s Public Relations Grant!  Here are the details:  TV and radio PSA spots about Rotary will be airing on Delta Broadcasting as well as WCMU during the month of February, World Understanding Month.  As part of this grant, a PR pilot project was proposed and is now underway during Rotary Awareness Month (January) and will run through April 2010 in three targeted cities:  Bay City, Midland and Alpena. The pilot involves the use of “traveling billboards” or bus ads to promote Rotary’s effort to eradicate polio.  If clubs located in those pilot cities wish to continue funding the ads beyond the grant deadline at the end of April, please contact me about this opportunity at rubyiwamasa@chartermi.net for details.
